Gogue was born in O Grove (Galicia) Spain, where he still lives and works. He currently works as an artist for Faro de Vigo daily newspaper, and has done for a good many years.
He collaborates in The Bush Blade (Alaska), The Greenwich Village Gazette (New York), The Earth Times (New York), as well as for the On Line Magazines Strategy Week in San Francisco-California (USA) Clever Magazine in Silicon Valley-California (USA), American Politics Journal (New York), Humor in the News (Los Angeles-US) Collaborator in the Magazine “On the Green” with Golf players caricatures in South Caroline (USA), Collaborator in Image Edit Art (Digital Custom) from San Francisco-California-US.
He is the author of the "Presidential Debates" short animation for the XOOP Corporation in Los Angeles-US.

AMERICAN LANDSCAPE January 25th – March 11th

What is an American Landscape? Anthony Petchkis, Karl Frey and Christopher Speakman exhibit their ideas to this question in a wide array of paintings, drawings, and cartoons at Art Attack’s American Landscape exhibit on February 11th from 6-9pm. Traditional, experimental, and architectural renderings link together to create a diverse discussion between pieces into the progression of the American Landscape.
Anthony J. Petchkis, is a Boston Based landscape artist who has been exhibiting for the past twenty years. Anthony's art has focused on the New England and Adirondack regions. In particular, the North Shore of Massachusetts, Cape Cod, and Martha's Vineyard, and the High Peaks region of the Adirondacks, New York. He was recently named the Digital Color Artist of the Month by Digital Consciousness and a winner of the Annual National Competition for the Associated Pastelists.
Karl Frey, a native of California presses the boundaries of American Landscape by questioning the reason why landscape is devoid of narrative and humanity. He expresses this idea in cartoon based landscapes as well as traditional landscapes painted on Legos. Lego pieces can be manipulated and translated into limitless possibilities to rearrange. He just recently won the Will and Elena Bartlett Painting Award from SMFA and was selected as Visiting Artist to Direct I.C.A. Boston Family Day Program
Christopher Speakman, is inspired by the history that lies in the Architecture of Old Buildings and spends countless hours rendering his ideal American Landscape that are within the formal structures around Boston. His execution of detail and precision are indicators of his graphic design background, but it is evident that his real talents are his creative genius with a bit of graphite and historical landscapes to spur his creativity.
