IN PEACE 2004 Art Competition Call for Artists
ARTROM Gallery, Rome, Italy is inviting artists and art students world-wide with an original artistic vision to submit images to IN PEACE 2004, an International online Juried Art Competition..
Deadline Date: August 1, 2004
Theme: Artwork sent should represent a vision of peace in a post 9-11 world. This is an opportunity to send a message to a world desperately in need of symbols and images that promote an alternative to violence in resolving our problems.
Media: 2 dimensional media, including, but not limited to, painting, drawing, pen and ink, pencil, printmaking, collage, etc. Digital process media, including photography and computer manipulations will be also be accepted for review.
Entry Fees: The entry fee is €25.00 (euro) to submit up to 3 images. Entry Form and detailed information on this and other competitions can be found at www.artrom.com.
The Jury Process: The jury will judge from digital images only. No photographs or slides of the Artwork will be accepted.
Their choices will be based on the expression of what Peace means in these troubled times.
They will select FIRST, SECOND, and THIRD PLACE Award Winners and Finalists, which will be showcased and promoted in the IN PEACE 2004 Exhibition on-line. Prizes will also be awarded.
Special invitations with a direct link to view the Exhibition will be sent to our opt-in mailing list to museums, art galleries, art institutions, curators, and individuals with an interest in the arts.
Commission: ARTROM Gallery will ask no commission on any eventual sales of artworks.

ARTROM Gallery Rome, Italy sponsors a continuous calendar of international juried art Competitions for artists and art students world-wide. Each Competition concludes with a month-long on-line Exhibition. A jury selects First, Second and Third Place Award Winners, Merit Award Winners and a group of Finalists. Prizes are awarded. All Winners and Finalists will be showcased in the Exhibition for one month and available for viewing within the Artrom Gallery Archives for one year.
Artrom Gallery is awarding artists up to €3000 (euro) for upcoming shows.
The entry fee is €25 (euro) for 3 images. €5 (euro) per additional image. There is no entry limit.

This is a continuing international on-line juried art Competition. The IN PEACE PROJECT Competition is always open to artists and art students at any time throughout the year to submit images of their visual expressions of Peace. In this way IN PEACE is different than other ARTROM Gallery Competitions.
Every two months, First, Second, and Third Place Winners are selected from the current entries and featured on the website. The three Winners from that period, along with all the other Entries, become part of the on-going on-line IN PEACE PROJECT Exhibition.

Call for artists: DIGITALLY 2005 - International juried on-line art, ARTROM Gallery focuses on supporting initiatives which help promote artists and their creative research, through competitions, exhibitions, one person shows, and membership in the ARTROM Gallery GUILD. First, Second and Third Place Awards, plus a group finalists will be featured in the DIGITALLY 2005 Winners Exhibition to open on August 15th. The exhibition will be featured for one month and remain on-line for viewing through the entire year.
