Dear Sir/Madam,
We are a non profit oriented voluntary organization based in Sri lank a engaged in conducting programmes in stress management and meditation practice .
!. As a step further we have planned to conduct fully free of charge
8 day residential programme in batches including
• sight seeing tours in Colombo capital.,Sri lanka Visits to monasteries, meditation practise , dhamma discussion,cultural show etc.
• training the mind of non attachment to the body and not acceptance or not rejection of emotions and be neutral by the techniques of meditation including Vipassana meditation and thereby easing the physical and emotional pain caused by life limiting illness thus relaxing in meditation
• training the mind through vipassana meditation to realize that there is no person, thinker or a body to accept or reject or feel pain arises from emotion and thereby to relieve from pain while relaxing in meditation.
Our organization will bear the cost of meals ,accommodation and health care, programme related inbound travel cost during the eight day stay for the programme.
• vegetarian diet will be provided during the programme.
• The participants will have to bear their cost of Air fares.
The participants are expected to dress up in white color colthes and refrain from smoking and be free from the influence of liquo at least only during dhamma discussions,meditation practise . Mainly Buddhist monks will conduct the Meditation programmes and dhamma discussions based on Buddhas teaching
This programme is open for any body of the world. Selection are done based on a questionnaire followed by a short study booklet.
This programme is more suitable as a relief of stress , frustration,depression,
worry,, emotional and isolations ,mind development,personality building and
for highest realization ,also beneficial for caregivers,healthworkers. And a free opportunity to learn about culture and society of Sri lanka even in brief. There
is no any fee for the programme for the course materials.
2. The participants can join 7 days sight seeing tour (only if they wish)
including places of historical importance ,elephant orphanages,beach
stay,wile life safaris, adventure ,water sports, after 8 day residential
programme which is organized by a travel firm. We are not capable to
sponsor this.
