KEI SHIN KAN KARATE-DO USA
This karate school began with Toyama Kanken when he founded two dojos in Japan (SHU DO KAN & KEI SHIN KAN). In 1955 he gave the KEI SHIN KAN dojo to a student of his who had studied with him since age 17. This student was Takazawa Masanao, who was also promoted to hachidan (8th dan) that very same day by Toyama Dai Shihan. Rod Murray has trained 37 of his 42 years of martial arts with Takazawa O'Sensei. He has trained in the karate system of Okinawa Seito Ryu. Eun-Kyung Shin
